Halloween Wedding

Halloween inspired weddings require extra creativity because brides have to stray away from the traditional decorations. Starting with fall inspired wedding bouquets and center pieces to small details like a pumpkin scented candle. The options are endless. Halloween is a holiday where adults can excuse themselves and be children and have some silly fun.

Floral Hair Accessories by Sweet N Lo

I wanted to do a post about floral hair accessories. Sweet n Lo is a lovely designer I found on Etsy. Sweet n Lo creates wearable confections made from vintage velvet flowers, gorgeous veiling, feathers and pretty much anything that looks old, delicate and eye catching.

What makes Sweet n Lo's pieces special is how many different types of people they can be worn by. Blushing brides, glowing grooms, proud parents, 80 year old grandpas, and daring fashionistas. Sweet n Lo also creates custom pieces if you want something unique just for you!

Floral Inspired Jewelry

I ran across a lovely jewelry designer in Little Italy today! It is located in Cleveland, Ohio in the boutique called Gina's Gallery and Boutique. The designer has a web page on Etsy- Elle-a-Belle. She creates many classy and colorful pieces but of course my favorite are the floral inspired necklaces. All the work is handmade to the last meticulous detail. I am in awe!

Any of these could be incorporated into the wedding party, perhaps for the bridesmaids. Or they can be given as a gift for all the hard work your maid of honor has done for you. But really the jewelry fits any occasion, I just had to find an excuse to feature these adorable designs on my floral inspired wedding blog. Enjoy!

Sunflower Weddings

With autumn in full bloom sunflowers seem to the perfect choice for any bride tying the knot during this time of the year. No flower can lift spirits quite like sunflowers can. Bright and cheery, bold yet comfortable, the sunflower is a warm and caring blossom. With brilliant yellow petals that surround the flower's center, sunflowers have an unmistakable sun-like appearance that has made them a passionate flower choice for many brides.

Enjoy this post con
taining many sunflower inspired decorations and hopefully you too will be inspired.

Pink Rose Wedding Inspiration.

One of my absolutely favorite blossoms is a rose. They are symbols of love, friendship, sincerity, joy, appreciation and much more. Many of my wedding invitation designs are of roses in many different colors and styles. Although the object of concentration for today is the "Pink Rose".

Floral Inspired Jewelry

I came across a lovely designer who creates floral inspired pieces of jewelry. Lillyella is the name of the shop found no other place but Etsy. I thought this would be a perfect addition to my blog since I adore flowers!

All of the designs have at least one floral element. They are simply elegant but with a creative edge. Lillyella's designs are perfect for a garden or perhaps a beach wedding. The designer creates many pieces for brides with a floral inspired wedding.

"Beautiful pale champagne colored glass pearls are strung with antiqued brass bead caps and floral accent - a classic piece!"

"Vintage rose cabochons in a creamy shade of ivory drop from antiqued brass kidney wires adorned with small brass beads and a Swarovski crystal."

These examples are only a few of the beauties this designer can create!

Artwork from Blossom Accents

Blossom Accents is a wedding invitation business for brides who are absolutely in LOVE with flowers...like me. Since weddings are largely abundant with flowers, I thought what a great idea it is to start the wedding invitations with flowers as well.Brides are encouraged to pick a favorite blossom from the portfolio and apply it to the color scheme of their wedding. They can change the color of the blossom or the paper accessories. I work with clients very closely therefore many of the invitations are custom created to the last detail.

I start with drawing all my blossoms with colored pencils and printing the artwork on high quality printers and paper.

Pictured above and below are images of some of my favorite blossoms from the portfolio of Blossom Accents.

Creating My Wedding Invitations.

The invitation is the first impression your guests are given of your wedding's style and atmosphere. Most Bride's-to-be want their invitations to be perfect. Well I always say, "If you want something to be done perfectly, you must do it yourself." This is true in most cases. When you make your own wedding invitations perfection is definitely achievable.

Making my invitations was nothing but fun. I created a simply elegant rose blossom invitation. At the local craft store I found a floral embossing stamp, magenta/pink color paper products, embossing powder along with some pastels and I went to work. I colored the blossom a pink color using the pastels and brushes which gave it a very subtle style.

There are many wedding invitation designers out there who truly concentrate to handmade detail which I greatly admire.

The joy and satisfaction of creating wedding invitations for my self and friends inspired me to start my own wedding invitation business called Blossom Accents.
