We are happy to announce a little tiny addition to Blossom Accents! A happy little girl was born in March and we have been in love since!
So to start the celebration, I will share some pictures from my baby shower which was absolutely sweet and charming!
The delicious cake pop favors were made by The Cute Little Cake Shop paired with pink nail polish and an envelope of black tea. The colors of choice were pink and turquoise which made a very cheerful and feminine accent.
Our delicious pink and turquoise cup cakes were made by an extremely talented local mom! Take a look at her gorgeous creations at the Polka Dot Cake Shop. Whitney loves flowers and bright vivid colors which is clearly evident in her cup cake designs.
And our last sweet goodie is our cake from Cakes by Nadine. Also in our theme colors and carnation flower accents! Delicious!
And of course the small stationery details seen on the favors and also the decorative wrap on the mason jar flower vases made by Blossom Accents. Next, we will share more details from the baby shower.

Spring Wedding Invitations
Since spring is right around the corner, I wanted to share some of our perfect spring appropriate wedding invitations and other available coordinating accessories.
Cherry blossoms are one of my favorite! Their extreme beauty is only seen in the spring and unfortunately only for a short time as they bloom really quickly. Cherry blossoms are very popular among weddings and other special occasions. View all the invitation options of the Cherry Blossom Invitation Suite!
And then there are Dogwoods, another beautiful tree growing blossom only seen in the spring. These are often seen in ivory with a touch of green or light pink with a touch of dark burgundy. Both colors are very beautiful and full of romance. Dogwoods are also very popular among wedding and seen in centerpieces, wedding bouquets and carried over to the details such as wedding invitations, cakes and other decor. Dogwood Wedding Invitation details listed on the website!
These are only two possible spring wedding invitation options. Feel free to browse our invitation portfolio for other beautiful invitations which may fit your wedding theme perfectly!

Macaroons!! Major Sweet Tooth at Blossom Accents!
I've definitely been having just a little bit of a sweet tooth! And luckily my sister shares this appetite with me! Out of the goodness of her big heart, my sister ordered some macaroons from her favorite bakery in New York, Cafe Rivera a Greenpoint bakery having one of the best and simply irresistible European pastries. They were shipped to my house and we had them over delicious hot coffee!! Lucky!!

Meet a Blossom Accents Bride! Angie and Richie Part One
Today and in next few days I have the pleasure to share with you another Blossom Accents Bride. Angie has contacted me almost a year and a half ago about her upcoming wedding and the stationery she had envisioned. From the first day, I knew Angie would inspire some beautiful pieces at Blossom Accents, and I was right.
Angie herself is from Honduras and Richie from Venezuela both countries of exotic beauty and unique style. She wanted her wedding stationery to compliment her origin and sense of style. The wedding took place in Miami, Florida with many of her quests arriving from both countries. Today I will share with you Angie's striking pre-wedding photographs. The images were shot in Miami with spectacular Miami architecture and the deep blue color of the Atlantic Ocean in the background.

My Five Year Wedding Anniversary!
Just recently, I celebrated my five year wedding anniversary! I can hardly believe how quickly the time flies! But I guess, time flies when you are having fun. This is exactly what my husband and I have done for the last five years-HAVE FUN! I really believe this is the one major secret to a long and happy marriage. You need to find many opportunities to make memorable memories, to laugh with one another and and at each other. Life is too short to keep it so serious...
We took a quick little getaway to a small city near Cleveland, OH called Dellroy. We stayed in this cozy bed and breakfast with the most kind hosts. Overlooking a beautiful lake and surrounded with much urban charm- restaurants with surprisingly delicious food and wineries with amazing wine, museum and the most unique collection of buttons I have ever seen!! Take a look :-)

Brown, Cream, Moss Green Wedding Inspiration
Brown, cream and green hughes are elegant and gentle. I really love this color combination because it's so naturally beautiful. In the rustic style or the royal setting-these colors will always deliver the right atmosphere.

Continuation.... Recap from National Stationery Show in NY!
Anyone who's involved in the wedding industry or etiquette related business, will know who Emily Post is! The American etiquette expert of all times!!!
Her granddaughter, Anna Post also visited the National Stationery Show to chat with fellow weddingzillas & papieristas! She even brought along one of her books and gave some lucky attendees a book signing! And yes, I was one of them! She was very sweet to sign the book using my polish name, Agnieszka. Thanks Anna! I am sure this book will serve as a great resource during my unexpected "get-togethers"!
But this is not all. I will have more NSS coverage tomorrow. Come visit again!
" leading authority on socially correct behavior, Emily Post provided solutions to social problems. With a name that became linked with proper manners in the minds of many, she was a successful author, newspaper columnist, and radio broadcaster" ReferenceThe amazing Emily Post died in 1960 at the age of eighty-six in her New York apartment. Since then, her daughter and then granddaughters have carried on her knowledge, tradition and legacy! Even to establish The Emily Post Institute.

Recap of past weekend at National Stationery Show in NY!!
During my trip I attended a very informative seminar given by the amazing Stacie Francombe from GetMarried and afterwards I even had the honor to chat with her about various topics. It was awesome to hear her feedback! Thank YOU Stacie!
Also, I was able to attend an interesting seminar with Darcy Miller the editorial director of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine! The seminar was about the latest bridal stationery trends of 2010. She offered some surprising statistics from bides-to-be! Thank YOU!
Both of these amazing women offered invaluable tips! But this isn't it... I have many more things to share with you during this week. Stay tuned!

Royal Blue and Yellow Wedding Inspiration
Royal blue and yellow colors as a theme for a wedding party seems like a fabulous color combination! So I gathered some images to put together a little board of the lovely possibilities. I especially love the bouquet of sunflowers with blue blossom accents and a gorgeous light yellow bridesmaids dress... it seems so light and feminine. Add some lemon zest to a dessert table as a centerpiece or simply as a snack full of Vitamin C! Enjoy!

Gerbera Daisy... Coming to Blossom Accents.
I love gerbera daisies. They come in all sorts of colors and they are fairly inexpensive.... they are cheerful and happen to be a popular choice among many brides. They signify purity and innocence. My recent drawing of two lovely pink gerbera daisies will soon become a hopefully great invitation design. Any suggestions for coordinating colors of paper?

Poppy Wedding Invitation and Poppy Wedding Cake

I found the most amazing looking poppy themed wedding cake from Etiquette of Chocolate. The company motto is "celebrating the beloved and moments in your life through artisan chocolates and cakes." These are not just any sweets, but confections steeped in social meaning and tradition so they're not only good on the taste buds, but good on the soul. Coordinate this delicious looking cake with Blossom Accents' Poppy Wedding Invitation and other lovely accessories.
