I have been asked a few times "how many invitations should I order?" If you are ordering 100 invitations, I recommend ordering at least 10 additional invitations. You may want one for yourself as a keepsake to place in the photo album or guest book and a few additional for unexpected add-on's or in case of any mistakes. Also, many vendors have minimum requirements when ordering extra invitations and you definitely don't want to have to order way more than you need in extras. Rarely, but it happens, people order one per guest! All you need is one per household.

My Five Year Wedding Anniversary!
Just recently, I celebrated my five year wedding anniversary! I can hardly believe how quickly the time flies! But I guess, time flies when you are having fun. This is exactly what my husband and I have done for the last five years-HAVE FUN! I really believe this is the one major secret to a long and happy marriage. You need to find many opportunities to make memorable memories, to laugh with one another and and at each other. Life is too short to keep it so serious...
We took a quick little getaway to a small city near Cleveland, OH called Dellroy. We stayed in this cozy bed and breakfast with the most kind hosts. Overlooking a beautiful lake and surrounded with much urban charm- restaurants with surprisingly delicious food and wineries with amazing wine, museum and the most unique collection of buttons I have ever seen!! Take a look :-)

Continuation.... Recap from National Stationery Show in NY!
Anyone who's involved in the wedding industry or etiquette related business, will know who Emily Post is! The American etiquette expert of all times!!!
Her granddaughter, Anna Post also visited the National Stationery Show to chat with fellow weddingzillas & papieristas! She even brought along one of her books and gave some lucky attendees a book signing! And yes, I was one of them! She was very sweet to sign the book using my polish name, Agnieszka. Thanks Anna! I am sure this book will serve as a great resource during my unexpected "get-togethers"!
But this is not all. I will have more NSS coverage tomorrow. Come visit again!
" leading authority on socially correct behavior, Emily Post provided solutions to social problems. With a name that became linked with proper manners in the minds of many, she was a successful author, newspaper columnist, and radio broadcaster" ReferenceThe amazing Emily Post died in 1960 at the age of eighty-six in her New York apartment. Since then, her daughter and then granddaughters have carried on her knowledge, tradition and legacy! Even to establish The Emily Post Institute.

Recap of past weekend at National Stationery Show in NY!!
During my trip I attended a very informative seminar given by the amazing Stacie Francombe from GetMarried and afterwards I even had the honor to chat with her about various topics. It was awesome to hear her feedback! Thank YOU Stacie!
Also, I was able to attend an interesting seminar with Darcy Miller the editorial director of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine! The seminar was about the latest bridal stationery trends of 2010. She offered some surprising statistics from bides-to-be! Thank YOU!
Both of these amazing women offered invaluable tips! But this isn't it... I have many more things to share with you during this week. Stay tuned!

"Why not me"...
Something different today on my blog. Lately the weather here in Ohio sucks! Rainy cloudy days always get me thinking and sometimes to an extent where I become my own worst self critic! Wishing I was this, hoping I wasn't that, dreaming of IT... the list is endless! So I take a step back and read this quote...
“The most vigilant self-criticism of course is necessary, but the time comes when the artist must tell himself he is good or he will go under” ~Gerald Moore
So, I am telling my self right now... "I am good, I can be better, and I WILL be this!!!"

Intimacy...Privacy is the ultimate luxury.
I found a great article on VeraWang.com and I just have to share it. Not only is Vera Wang a magnificent designer but she also has some great writing skills. Look through her site for more insightful wedding information.

"Genuine intimacy, like sexual, emotional or intellectual compatibility, is one of those rare quirks of fate that can occur imperceptibly at the beginning of a relationship. It can also slip away just as easily later on. After the initial passion of new love, the decision to wed hopefully stems from a rational confluence of reason and emotion. Uncertainty can spring from any number of emotions, from the enormity of a lifelong commitment and the staggering logistics of planning a wedding to the natural capacity for self-doubt. A delicate effort is required to nurture closeness throughout the engagement."
TO CONSIDER Walking
• The destination is unimportant. Taking a walk means carving out a bit of time for one another. • Walking is a simple way of reconnecting and confiding. • Early in a relationship, a quiet walk can be a prelude to romance.
• Walking still remains one of the most natural ways to create intimacy. • During the frenzy of the engagement, walking might provide the only opportunity to steal some time alone.
Eating
• There is an undeniable link between eating and intimacy. • It could be a hamburger in a diner, Chinese take-out at his place or scrambled eggs at home. • An interruption in the day's routine allows time to share food and conversation provides a perfect escape. • Whether it's a quiet lunch for two, drinks before joining others for dinner or cooking for each other, eating as a couple has always been a part of courtship.
Bathing
• Bathing presents an ideal occasion to experience a deeper kind of intimacy. • Something about water sustains calmness and trust. • In the privacy of the moment, words are not always necessary to express feelings. • The tranquility of bathing encourages openness, relaxation and the inclination to connect.
Any thoughts????
