A beautiful winter day at Blossom Accents!

About a week ago we had a snowfall here in Ohio and instead of bundling up at home under a cozy blanket with some hot chocolate, I took the little one with me for a stroller walk in the neighborhood. I grabbed my camera because who knows when a great photo opportunity may pop up?

As we walked down the streets, I was in complete awe at the beauty. The fall leaves still have not fallen which added to the snowfalls pure whiteness. Even some flowers were still visible under the cold! Here are some of the beautiful pictures I captured on this lovely day.

Red Poppy Wedding Invitation

I just added one of my favorites back to the Blossom Accents portfolio! The poppy blossom artwork is the first flower I drew when I decided to open a stationery business back in 2008. I had it on the website for a year or so but decided to remove it because I didn't like the style of the invitation anymore. The time has finally come for a new look of my red poppy invitation and I couldn't be happier with the result! It has vintage style with much personality! Fall, Pumpkins, Thanksgiving...

Finally after being in denial and not wanting to say goodbye to summer (mind you I feel like it never really came here in Ohio) I was able to find some beauty during a warm fall sunny day at a local foods market. I always appreciate a local market! These merchants strive to provide their customers with healthy, fresh and seasonal fruits and veggies that grocery stores really can not compete with! This market even does more... it was full of seasonal decor, colors of fall and fall spirit! Enjoy!
