Baby Shower Invitations: Pink and Turquoise

A little delayed, but the little one is a joyful handful so our posts are becoming somewhat sparse.

The baby shower invitations are pictured below. I chose carnations since they are the traditional Mother's Day flowers and since I feel this was the biggest gift and blessing in my life, I represented it with a sweet smelling pink carnation.

Below you will see some other paper goodies such as favor tags, parent advice cards and thank you cards. I thought the advice cards were a great idea mentioned to me by a friend. It was so much fun reading all the funny, caring and helpful thoughts of other ladies.

Cherry Blossom Wedding Invitations- Pink Silver Wedding

Ohio has not seen the sun for a whole week! Due to the hurricane effects, we have been without power for almost five days now! It's cold, gray and dark. But I am able to do some small things here and there and somehow put myself in a positive mood. Our hearts go out to the people in NJ, NY and PA. 

Something to color our day today, cherry blossom invitations all the way back from August. This bride chose pink and silver paper color accents. Adds a delicate and romantic touch with bold pink cherry blossoms!

Another project from the summer- Gerber Daisy Invitations in a silver, green and pink color combination.
The daises look great with a variety of colors, but this one really enhances the pink color and makes it pop! Also in the photos you will see matching table cards and place cards.

Flower Power Wedding Invitations- Fun & Bold

It's a rainy day here in Ohio today, so I wanted to post something cheerful and colorful! I came across these invitations I did for AJ and Craig from England this past summer. AJ wanted something really casual yet really bold in design and color. The first set of invitations were for both ceremony and reception-a little more sparkly and elaborate. The second set of invites were only additional guest invited to the reception only. This style was less decorated but still very fun! Enjoy!

Just imagine the thoughts these guest had when they received the invitations!? That was one heck of a party as AJ afterwards mentioned!

Pink and Brown-Carnation Wedding Invitations

Blossom Accents has been so busy lately, I hardly have time to blog anymore. But I really wanted to share with all of you one of the latest invitations I have mailed. Pink and brown carnation invitations made for a little babies christening. Anna, her mother has been a client of mine since a few years back. She's returned one more time to have these beauties custom made just for her daughters baptism. I think they came out wonderfully and a perfect compliment to such as special occasion!

Turquoise and Pink Wedding Inspiration with Carnations

Something new in the shop! Carnations! Just recently I hand drew these carnations and designed this wonderfully charming invitation suite. Like all of my drawings, they start with an emotion and a strong visual inspiration. I took some photographs of these fun blossoms and from there starts my design process. 


Carnations are intriguing due to all the uniquely twisted and roughed petals. They were really fun to draw! I actually can't wait till another client comes to me with a different color of carnations to create! But for now, the pink carnations are here to stay combined with a pop of turquoise color! Teal and Pink Wedding-Stargazer Lily Invitaiton

The stargazer lily artwork quickly became a hit in the studio! It looks great with many colors. This bride has a teal and pink theme at her wedding and loves stargazer lilies. She came to the perfect place!
