Hydrangea Wedding Invitation - Purple and Lilac

Hydrangea Wedding Programs-Pink

Meet A Blossom Accents Bride! Rebecca & Nathan! Part One

This month just zoomed past me and the blog it seems! Not a post in September until now! Well, I have some exciting photographs to share with everyone from another Blossom Accents Bride!

Becky and Nathan got married in the historical town of Charleston, South Carolina. The exceptional setting is full of southern charm and beauty. The Thomas Bennett House was built around 1825 and has been restored to serve distinctive and elegant events with a most beautiful garden and tremendous architecture.

More budget mindful wedding invitations!

It seems like more and more brides are looking to save some money! Although many of my invitation suites start at $4.50 per each suite, I can surely work with my clients to decrease the costs!! All they have to do is give me a ring (1-888-233-6690) or drop me an e-mail (agnes@blossomaccents.com) and the options are practically endless! Many times the total price is reduced by more than 50%!!! So don't be shy-give it a try! :) 


Below is the Hydrangea Pair Wedding Invitation. It includes three layers of paper, glitter accents in center of blossoms, hydrangea sketch on envelope and guest addressing.

And in the second example is the simpler version of the design. It includes only two layers of paper instead of three. The blossoms do not have glitter accents and the envelopes are without guest addressing and the hydrangea sketch. 

There are so many Pro's of working with a custom stationery designer! You will have something unique! You can have something affordable! You can exchange pretty much endless questions and ideas with your designer and in turn the design will become something truly original!

Invitations for a Special Event-The Blue Hydrangea Tea Party

Recently I had the pleasure of creating invitations for a very special event-The Blue Hydrangea Tea Party. Melanie Finley the founder of the foundation found Blossom Accents and said "these invitations are perfect for this event"! Of course I was also excited and honored to be included in this celebration! The Melanie Finley Ovarian Cancer Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization that raises money for Ovarian Cancer awareness and provides direct financial assistance to young women who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

The Blue Hydrangea Tea Party™ is a national campaign to encourage greater awareness of ovarian cancer. Each year on the Saturday before Mothers’ Day, women across the country gather in small groups to have tea and learn about the disease.

Creating Becky's invitations has been great fun! They are finally put together, wrapped, packaged and delivered to the final destination! They have been received with great enthusiasm! I did catch some final pictures to capture some last memories of these creations! Lovely!

Custom Stamps at Blossom Accents are HERE!

Recently here at Blossom Accents, one of my clients has pushed me into a variety of creative projects! This is one of my favorite things about being a custom invitation design studio! I give my clients the BEST personal service I can, they inspire great designs within my creative side and it is an all around full of pleasure experience!

This particular client really enjoyed the pink hydrangea design and she just wanted everything in the wedding stationery to have this blossom as an accent! So we even went along to create some stamps! I really love how everything is coming together-I can't wait myself till these are finally finished and mailed to put a smile on peoples faces :) !!! Happenings at Blossom Accents-Dogwoods, Lilies, Hydrangeas and more...

Here at Blossom Accents, I have been extra busy with all sorts of projects. Dogwoods for Siobhan, Lilies for Ashley, and Hydrangeas for Amanda. All these projects are crafted and assembled with passion and love for creativity and beauty! Dogwoods symbolize "undiminished love", lilies symbolize "respect" and hydrangeas symbolize "understanding". Who ever knew that flowers spoke a language? This is why I particularly focus my projects on florals. Because each blossom signifies something really special and meaningful in it's own unique sense. Hydrangea Wedding Invitations

Earlier this month I started a NEW hydrangea design for a client. View here for phase one of this design. The colors of her wedding are warm pinks, moss greens and ivory. I've really enjoyed this process because I have to admit I've been so afraid of taking up hydrangeas because of the detail involved in this blossom, but I'm actually satisfied with myself :)!!

What's happening at Blossom Accents!!??

Recently the studio is busy with hydrangeas! These beauties are a lot of work due to all those tiny yet gorgeous flowers all bunched up in one big puff! This process looks a little something like this....

It starts with me drawing the blossoms by hand with fine art color pencils. This is actually the easy part! The hard part is the composition, colors used, blossom view etc.

Sketching, drawing, erasing, hand cramping :).... but all so worth it!!

Sometimes I even get a hand from clients!!! Notice the fabric swatch, the save the date copy and there's more where that came from. All these little inspirations then evolve into an invitation! Now that's a custom made invitation for ya! Everything is done with heart, love and passion for art!!!

And the artwork comes to an end. Peaches, pinks and moss greens were the foundation colors of this design. Now it is time for phase two.... the INVITATION!!! Thanks for looking. Enjoy!!!

Hydrangea Wedding Invitation

Currently in the studio of Blossom Accents this lovely hydrangea lightened up the gloomy and snow filled weather around in Ohio!!! I just love this artwork!!! It totally has the feel of a hydrangea... big, bold, and fluffy! This particular one is in blue/violet tones with some glitter sparkle for an extra WOW effect!

My next hydrangea project for a client will be in warm peaches.... stay tuned for details!

Hydrangea Drawing

Here is a sneak peak into the upcoming hydrangea invitation design!

This blossom is so intricate, that I decided to take my time with this one. I think it was well worth it. I am much more happy with this artwork than the prior hydrangea I drew about a year ago. This one has the deserved bounce and fluff this particular blossom needs!
